I don’t normally post about work-related issues – columnist Fred Siegmund tackles this issue – but I saw a video on the issue that I wanted to share.
During a TEDx event (click here for more on what TED and TEDx events are), Shawn Achor, CEO of Good Think Inc., gave a presentation about finding happiness through success, work, and positive thinking. I won’t spoil the whole video for you, but according to his research, everything we think about achieving happiness and success is backwards – and if we can reverse the trend, we’re more likely to work better and be happier.
Watch the whole video (it’s about 12 minutes long). It’s totally worth it.
